I just don't have the time for exercise. I am at school from 7:15 to 3:15 each day and I usually have to study for a test or do homework since I am in honors and AP classes.

I was wondering though if instead of eating candy or unhealthy food at school, I could eat a banana and instead of snacking alot at night I could not eat after 6. Would this make a big difference? I need to loose 30 pounds but will settle for 20.

yea u can lose some weight just by eating healthier but dont be scared to eat past 6! 7:30-8:00 is even ok still....by restricting ur eating that early, at night when u are alsleep ur body will feed off of the muscle u have because there is nothing else(like food) and u will loose ur strength...it hapeened to me and now im pretty week and i eat right before bed(i know u dont want to though but 6 is just too early)

You will lose weight by dieting. I am a college student and I'm sure you've heard about the freshman 15. Instead of eating burgers and fries, I switched to salads and veggies. I lost some weight, but if you want to make a drastic change, you'll need to include some exercise. Try to fit in at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. A fun exercise that I've enjoyed doing is Turbo Jam. You don't even feel like you're working out, but the results are fantastic. I lost 10 pounds in about a month. Good luck!

Yes you can lose 20 or 30 pounds by diet alone. You may not get a toned look because you're not working your muscles, but weight loss is 90% diet. It's all about calories well at least for what you want. By the way make sure you eat healthy and don't starve yourself.

Exercise helps but I've worked with personal trainers and they all say diet/healthy eating lifestyle is 90% of the results. Also one of the trainers was on that Sweet 16 show.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Yes! Substitute junk food cravings with sweet fruit like bananas or berries..since you are female try and eat around 1300-1750 calories daily too lose weight at a satisfying rate (You need around 1900-2100 too maintain your weight).

Or eat around 500 calories less then you usually do and eliminate all junk food (Allow a splurge here and there) and you should be on your way.

The bottom line is that to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you take in. Your ideas are good, but you really do need to be active. Find 20 minutes a day somewhere. Besides, with all that studying, a little exercise helps with stress.

yes, but you will never be truly healthy with out regular exercise. to lose fat at a constant rate with out exercise your diet would have to be near perfect. this would mean consuming 3 meals and 2-3 snacks daily with 100% whole foods cooked from scratch.

don't have time to exercise, more like don't want to exercise. I took AP classes, played sports in high school, played in sports outside of school, was in scouts and took martial arts AND i still found time to work out almost daily in the gym.
