Once a con-man, always a con man.
I guess it's easier than an honest living but I couldn't live with myself if I did that kind of thing...

isn't this approximately like claiming that a diabetic now no longer has diabetes by way of fact he does not take insulin? This tale sounds plenty like a PR maneuver to help Haggard keep regardless of is left of his profession and his wealth. the only thank you to confirm that he's "cured" is to deliver him to San Francisco for the weekend, placed some drinks in him, provide him get right of entry to to gay porn, and a bypass to a bathhouse...and then see what occurs. merely by way of fact the diabetic can in straightforward terms do plenty to regulate their diabetes, interestingly particularly in all probability that Haggard can in straightforward terms do plenty to disguise and/or administration his sexual identity. of direction, the government distinction between the diabetic and Haggard is this: diabetes is an ailment. Sexual orientation isn't.

No.. I give to my own charities. I'm sure there are some honorable Christian Charities, but Haggard reminds me of Jim Baker many years ago.. Hey these people are human and make mistakes, but I'm not willing to donate to any televangelist, with the exception of Billy Graham.

Does he want male prostitutes or meth? Because I don't have either, and I'm certainly not giving him any money.
Ever since I watched the documentary "Jesus Camp," I can't bare to look at the guy. I wish him all the best, though...being a gay, drug-addicted hypocrite must be hard work.

The "ex-Gay" movement is a scam, a sham, and a shame. Haggard, himself, is proof that it doesn't work. Gay people do not choose to be gay, and there is no "cure" for being gay. You can't just "pray the gay away." You just have to accept it, and just be gay. I really don't think (the) God(s) care. After all, (t)He(y) made you that way!

I don't trust Christian Charities because they don't post where the money goes to, operating costs, or anything else. It makes me wonder how much the church keeps for itself.

I would, but he'd just spend it on meth and gay hookers. And sure, maybe then I'd get it back, but still.
