We have been dating for a while now but I want to go farther with him...
Is the age difference too much?

Whoa guys, cool it with the guilt trip. Anyway, it's your body therefore your decision regardless of whatever stupid laws that tell you that you are not mature enough to think and act by yourself. My advice is to do whatever is comfortable and by all means DON"T GET CAUGHT. Good Luck

Definitely, at fifteen, you should not even be dating! Really, you are cutting yourself short. Short in the teenage activities that will enhance your life. Go to school, go to the movies, go window shopping all with girls your age who also are keeping away from relationships that will (for sure) limit you. Limit you financially, educationally, culture wises. Why have a relationship with one guy when you can be friends with all the boys your age.

You are seeking the love and affection what you (obviously) are not receiving from your parents. What a sad thing. Honey, think about your future. The small corner of you live in is not the whole world. Give time to your teen years in the activities like sports, arts, cultural, anything but a relationship.

Tell me something, at 15 years old are you prepared to be a parent. I don't think so! Just the same you are not prepared for relationship of this sought.

Read a book titled: "A Fine Romance" and also a book titled: "Toxic Parents" before looking for love from all the wrong people and in all the wrong place.

I am the mother of a 22 year old female, Mechanical Engineer, who is traveling the world, go out meeting her friends in fine restaurants, buying really nice cloths and she also bought herself a Honda Civic. She has so much fun with her friends (girls and boys) all her age. She have never made friends with anyone older than her. Even now at 23 years old. All her friends are her age.

Go do dance classes, or something like aerobics. Go to school, study a career path.

Once you have successfully finished your school and are a professional you'll have plenty of money and educated friends to have fun with.

Foolish you are for involving yourself in serious sexual relationship with the opposite sex, at your age.

Get a life, before you damage your life!

If you think you are ready for everything that goes along with this it would be OK. At 15 I was with an older guy like that and it worked out OK but didn't last too long. He could get in trouble with the law, and your parents would probably be pretty mad if it was getting out what you were doing.

i have a friend in the very same case. it isnt as much as the age difference as it is the law and well all of that stuff is illegal. why dont you wait till ur 16 or 17 and then decide if your ready and by then it will be legal.

At the point you're at in life, yes!!!! He's fresh out of high school and has not established himself! You're still in your teens, and should be allowed to enjoy it while you can. He sounds like the type that is scared to face the reality of the real world, and is dating you so he can emotionally stay attached to the security of high school! You don't need a relationship like this.

I would have to agree w/ everyone else. He's way too old for you and it tells me he isn't too confident in finding girls his own age. So if y'all want 2 continue dating i just hope he has a good attorney in the long run. Drop him.

Nope not at all. In 10 years, when he gets out of jail you will be 25 and he will be 29. not much difference at all.

15+19=5 to 10.
If you catch my drift.

Hey, it's only illegal if you get caught...

That being said, it really is very illegal and he would get into a lot of trouble even if it was consentual. Just stick to hugging and kissing for now....or better yet find someone who's under 18 to screw....lol...no seriously, wait till you're ready and it's legal.

Four years is a lot of difference! in your age group. Not to mention that you're a minor and he's an adult. Very illegal. I wouldn't do it.
Best of luck
