F-250/350 Superduty Diesel and fuel economy are two words that dont really mix well. if you are in the market for something that big to tow/work/carry/haul i wouldnt think that fuel economy was even on the list of questions. be that as it may once the engine has been properly broken in (somewhere around 12,000 miles) you can expect to see around 15-18MPG. keep in mind that a diesel isnt something you want to "bop" around town with as starting and stopping will kill your mileage.

A lot will depend on your driving habits. You have to also figure in the rear axle ratio. That dual turbo engine is something else. It sounds like a gas engine while it is idling. They are made at the KY Truck Plant in Louisville, KY. Email me and I'll see if I can help you out. Put superduty in the subject line.
