When I was gone earlier today, my dogs got into the computer room where I keep my parakeet and ate 3 of her honey seed sticks. I was just wondering if there's any danger for them eating the seeds.

Yeah, my chihuahuas like to clean up the seeds that get tossed out of the cage too. I just wasn't sure if it would be a problem in bulk.

hi

the only thing you need to be aware of is the plastic sticks they were on, if your dog has swallowed these too then you need to make sure that they come out the other end, if you see nothing within a week then you need a trip to the vets i'm afraid

No, shouldn't hurt them. My dogs clean up the seeds and pellets my birds toss out of the cage all the time.

Nope, I used to have a cockatiel and my dog would sneak in and eat her food all the time. It never hurt her, but we did find lots of seeds in her poop..
