The 12 steps have a great spiritual basis. They were definitely inspired by God. Get yourself into recovery and if your willing to surrender, the help will be there.

Do the first 3 steps of AA/NA in reality and the rest will take care of itself.
1. We admitted we were powerless over alcohol/drugs--that our lives had become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as the Bible explains Him.
Step 3 is the crucial step. When you walk in obedience to God's counsel as found in the Bible, praying about everything, being connected to the body of Christ in a meaningful way, making no provision for the flesh, having accountability from more mature Christians, etc. then you are on the way to victory.

The entire Bible would be appropriate. Start with Genesis and read through. TV and Playstation can't save you.
