its funny how a "local flood" seems to be spread out through every culture with amazing similarities...
the aztecs, the north american indians, the hawiians, babylonians, chinese, and more all have stories about a man and his family builiding a huge boat and loading it with animals being saved from destruction.

The Biblical account is pretty specific a dozen times or so that it was a worldwide event, covering all of the mountains.
The spread in farming after the Flood, therefore, happened by Noah and his family, after they stepped off Noah's Ark.
It's funny that people would call Noah's ark story a myth, without more compelling evidence of a more believable story (definitely not the Babylonian epic).

"If you lived in that basin it would have seemed like the whole world had flooded."
He's implying that people who observed this hypothetical flood wrote the "Noah's ark myth", or passed on the story to their descendants, who later wrote about it. Yet, it's obvious from the story of Noah's ark in the Bible that no one lived to tell about it (except of course for Noah and his family). Nice logic there. Or is he saying that those hypothetical observers of the flood were actually Noah, his wife, their sons and their wives? Yeah, right.

I like how the tool says Noah's Ark is a myth. Typical closed-minded scientist.

If there is any truth at all to the story of Noah it is that it was only a local flood, not a world wide event.

It is consistent with my belief that there was a massive regional flood that led to a tall tale.
