hello, i have Manitou minute 3 fork for my bike, and its an adjustable fork. however, i m not too sure how to adjust everytime. for example, when i am riding the bike, its suppose to be 130mm travel, but when i m on it it turns to like 90mm. so i want to know how to lock it to 130mm. thx :)

Your fork probably isn't set up for your weight. Buy a fork pump and follow the Manitou's guidlines for basic set up for your body weight. Or, take it back to the shop and have them do it for you.

I'm not sure about how you say it's only like 90mm. I think that the minute has the travel adjusment, and it should be a dial on the top of one of the fork legs. I don't know if the Minute 3 has this feature or not.

But, I think that probably what you need to adjust is the sag on the fork. That means the pressure it has. Usually, you should set the sag around 25-30% of the travel.

Sag is the amount the suspension travel the fork takes just by having your weight on the bike. So, if the fork has 130mm travel, when you climb on the bike without jumping on it, just sitting on the bike, you should have about 100mm free.

Open it and cut the spring to 90mm.
