For career's you first have to rank the ones with championships, so the top 5 have to be (with current championships, carrer wins, and races per win)
1 - Jeff Gordon (4, 81 wins, 6.3 races per win)
2 - Jimmy Johnson (2, 33 wins, 6.6 races per win )
3 - Tony Stewart (2, 32 wins, 10.0 races per win)
4 - Kurt Bush (1, 17 wins, 15.1 races per win)
5 - Matt Kenseth (1, 16 wins, 18.3 races per win)
The rest in my order, with career wins, and races per win:
6 - Dale Earnhardt Jr (17 wins, 17.1 races/win)
7 - Kevin Havrick (11 wins 22.7 races /win)
8 - Kyle Bush (4 wins, 28.5 races / win)
9 - Denny Hamlin (3 wins, 26.3 races / win)
10 - Juan Pablo Montoya (1 win, 37 races/win)
Jr, even with the last few bad years, has career stats that are better than any of the non-championship winner. I doubt if Ky. Bush, Hamlin, or Montoya get to 17 wins or a championship.
I would also replace the last three in my list with the following:
Greg Biffle (12 wins, 15.5 races per win)
Carl Edwards (7 wins, 17.3 races per win)
Kasey Kahne (7 wins, 20.6 races per win)
BTW, the more I look at the list, the more I wonder why some people think Hendrick made a mistake in dumping Kyle Bush He has the worst races per win on the list (other than JPM).

I see that many people are misreading your question. How I take it is when it is all said and done, who will have ammased the best career, NOT who's career is the best right now. With THAT in mind here is my list.
1) Jeff Gordon
2) Jimmie Johnson
3) Denny Hamlin (I think this kid is even better than Kyle)
4) Tony Stewart
5) Kyle Busch
6) Matt Kenseth
7) Dale Earnhardt Jr.
8) Kurt Busch
9) Juan Pablo Montoya
10) Kevin harvick
