yes it is! you have to pay to be a member therefore its a cult not a religion. and to the people who say its no more stupid than other religions, your stupid to. other religions were made 1000's of years ago not 50-60 years ago, and the other religions don't claim we were dropped here by an alien who thought his galaxy was over populated or whatever. and other religions don't make you pay to be apart of them, therefore they are real religions and you cant compare them to a cult. you may not be religious but why do you have to put those religions down? no one is making you be apart of them so leave them alone.

Sense in what part? What do you know of it?
I took the Personal Communications course and it was great.
I also took the Better Studying course and it was very useful also (tho not as good as the Comm course). I didnt see much need for the other stuff. Peer Pressure and Drugs werent much of a problem for me. All in all I spent a couple years hanging around a sci center. I had less problems with them than I had with the baptists.

If you mean the stuff that gets posted here about scientology then yes that stuff is complete stupidity. But I think its written to be that way when people post it. (and here is the only plae Ive ever seen it)

The subject of scientology is not at all "stupid". It is in fact very useful & can help a person sort out the confusions of life & spirituality.

Unfortunately the subject of scientology is confused by most people with the organization which constitutes the Church of Scientology. That organization has an at best "dubious" history and the bad practices of its leadership has done much to taint the reputation of scientology in general.

There are however numerous scientologists around the world who practice scientology independent of the church. The independent scientologists are collectively referred to as "freezoners".

Do a google search on "freezone scientology" or watch the British tv video by comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli available at google video uk for REAL information about scientology.

Religion is complete stupidity. Scientology is just at the fringes of religion, so it looks even wackier. But fundementally, Scientology is no more ludicrous than any other theology that requires a suspension of common sense to follow it...

I don't see why it's any less valid than all the other kooky religions of the World. Christians believe in dragons, zombies, unicorns and goblins. Mormon's believe in a magical golden book. Jews believe in the same fantastical sky daddy the Christians do.

Why is scientology any crazier?

Hey!
It makes as much sense as a Jew walking on water, and denouncing his own religion, or a immaculate conception (now a days it is called unwanted teenage pregnancy), or the dogma that you were once a sludge then a monkey, or anything else like: UFOs, bigfoot, superman, green lantern, etc.

Anything makes sense if you believe in it. If you don't then it won't.

Uh oh! There are a whole flock of lawyers headed towards where ever you are. Find a safe hiding place, perhaps a bomb shelter until they are gone. Garlic and silver bullets do not work on lawyers. Scientology employs thousands of lawyers who defend the faith.

I hope you understand that this is all said in jest. Maybe.
