First apply the crackling medium and let dry. Then apply the paints and it will then apprear cracked. Directions should be on the medium container.

Depends on the type. Indeed you have the type you coat the canvas before painting. There is also the type you use as a varnish (or ad a few drops to your varnish).

Without you giving use the brand or name we can not tell for sure.

I used elmer's glue mixed with a selfmade paste with tissue paper on a tumbler vase it made it look crackled yet yet gentle. i've got in no way tried it on beads yet I wager it would artwork large.
