You will see a turn of events after Thanksgiving. The city, restaurants, the theaters are losing mega $$$.
I feel for the theater goers that will be in the city this week and can't use their tickets.
I don't understand what they think they gain by not negotiating in good faith. Everyone loses especially the public with useless tickets. What a shame)

I saw on the news that talks collapsed today.
My guess is, until the strikers are looking at being unable to pay the rent or buy groceries. If the talks collapsed, I think the theatres made a "take it or leave it' offer.

Not long but producers declared the shows would not go on at least until the end of the Thanksgiving weekend

Hopefully not too much longer. Worse case scenario it will probably drag out until the start of Spring.
