My dog was spayed in the summer and popped a stitch they said it will heal on its own. Theres a small "bump" under her skin which I can play with a little left to right now. My vet says its normal.

what do you think?
does your dog have this?

Normal, it is scar tissue. It will either diminish with time or will say the same. Nothing to worry about. Enjoy your pup!

my dog had a bump also he had to have exploratory surgery, it is totally normal and will go away. just watch it to make sure it does not get bigger or red. if so then see you vet right away. It may take some time to go away but it will. the skin was lifted during surgery and puss, tissue and even infection can cause the bump. I freaked out when i first seen it too. just watch it and it will be fine.

dont worry! that happens. my dog had one which lasted a month or two -just a little lump/fold of skin just as you describe. It'll almost certainly get smaller with time until there is just a tiny silvery scar under her hair. (if she has hair on her tummy - when my dogs pups scratche it all off hen nursing it never actually grew back exept from a few wispy bits, which is why we can still see the scar)

sounds like it may have pulled apart... we had a girl do that after she had an incision and the vet said she would repair it when she was spayed

This is probably just scar tissue and over time, will disappear. Your vet is right, it is normal.

It is fine. Chances are, it will get smaller as time goes on. Do not worry about it.
