I mean,
think about it,
i can't even remember a conversation word for word
that i had yesterday...
how is someone gonna record years and years of
conversations and events into a book and call it a bible?

And another thing,
no one can say for sure whether heaven or hell exsists.
I know there are psycho mother ******* who go around
saying that they
"have seen the light"

when science has actually proved thats is a chemical
reaction in your brains frontal lobes
before a body is no longer sending signals through out the body
with orders.

And im a "gotta prove it" to me kinda person.
And i wouldnt be ranting as much if i didnt waist
my ignorant youth on believing a fictional god.

Im sorry if i offended anyone with this..it really wasnt my intent.

I am an unbeliever as well. That being said, despite your protest to the contrary - you certainly seem to be trying to offend those who do believe. Personally I just don't see the point of ranting about it. If you don't believe it - well and good for you - so why are you still talking about it? I say just get on with your life, and leave the believers to their own special way of seeing the world. Obviously they need religion in their lives - and who are you to say they shouldn't be into it, if it makes them happier and more able to deal with the crap in their lives more power to 'em. For all you know they may actually need that religion stuff to keep them from being raging psychopaths. I say MYOB (mind your own beliefs) - such a small courtesy costs nothing and disrespects no one...

I'm an Agnostic, I can't argue if there is a God or not.and I am familiar with the Christian religion, but I have to disagree with you about something.
Religion may be BS to you and that's OK, but respect people's right to practice it.
Many scientists disagree with each other about many things, but a group of scientist won't be the ones to help you if some day you are down and out.

Religion is some truth weaved in with a lot of garbage. Divine Energy is always pure. Some people need to learn how to float up from the mud of religion to become a lotus flower.

A true scientist RELIES on religion

the essence of compiling an understanding..
postulate- preach
test- accumulate disciples
conclude- boss the disciples around
simplify- ask something for help

the part where it becomes a government tho:
you register yourself with your community
you manage a database of needs
you lump all of your civilization's goods into one source

I'm going to agree with you, partially. I believe that most "religions" are flawed. Religions were invented by men, and all of mankind is flawed. That being said, I do believe in the One True God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and that the Bible is the one absolute truth. There is but one way into Heaven, through the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible cannot be disprove, if you don't believe me, try it. That is how a good number of atheist have become Christians. Read the Book of Luke. Luke was not one of Jesus' followers, he was a doctor and (you guessed it ) a scientist, who wrote his book by interviewing people and doing research.

God and religion are 2 very different things,You do not need to attend a gathering of people to know God.Unless you are a theologian your argument is full of what very uneducated people spew about the bible.Your words hold nothing new said. For me God has persevered his Truth, promises, wisdom, hope within the bible,I need not explain my beliefs to you.You said you wasted your youth on believing in a fictional God,your picture looks as though you are about 20ish,I hardly think you have it all figured out.You are not saying anything new.Shalom

There is no "BS" about accepting a gift of forgiveness and showing appreciation by following some basic rules like love one another.

If an Egyptian wrote a Sci-Fi book 3000 years ago and it was just found, would people believe that it really happened? Same concept in my opinion.

If you are going to say this, you must be completely ignorant. That sounded mean but just hear me out. So you think that everyone on this earth comes as a baby and just dies, and thats it!? For me THAT doesn't make sense. There is no way that this world came from nothing, that i am only here on this world for me. People just don't die. Heaven and hell are very real. I know that i am put on this earth for a reason, a reason that goes beyond this world, and living in this world has been made easier because i know what my purpose is: spreading this knowledge so that all may believe in Christ and go to heaven. My advice is to ask yourself, why you are here.
