On a related matter, someone once said something like: "Why is praying to God accepted but when God talks back, people get called crazy?"

Well, there are crazy people talking to real beings and crazy people talking to fake beings. You don't know that they are not. The key difference is this. God, angels, etc are not going to approach an unstable mind and say bizarre, negative things. They are going to use stone cold sane people without ulterior motives as channels for peace, love, and insight. Not loopy people, moneygrubbing people, or people with big egos.

If any athiests or believers don't buy it, they don't buy it. Let it be so. Maybe there is another plan for them. So bless them and move on to your own purpose.

Lock people up because of their belief in religion? Didn't that question get settled already?

Freedom of religion is a guarantee by a government for freedom of belief for individuals and freedom of worship for individuals and groups. It is generally recognized to also include the freedom not to follow any religion. Freedom of religion is considered by many in many nations and people to be a fundamental human right.

Pagans and birds have an identical form of worship, it somewhat is, they feed, sing songs, and mate the companions. Pagans don't think that the words, it is my physique, reported through the priest on the altar, makes the bread into the physique of Jesus. So, pagans consume all ingredients, yet believers consume non secular nutrients that's the physique of Christ.

I think it's more a matter of making yourself believe it...or delusion. Just like people who are so positive that ghosts exist and "bam"...sure enough they begin seeing and hearing ghosts. I don't believe in them and I have never had a visitation. If you want something to be true badly enough, you can make your mind play tricks on you. This is why I believe Catholics are the only ones to see Mary and other saints because they believe in them. I wonder if any Jews have seen Mary in a tortilla?

mob induced mania is only recognized when the numbers are small. branch davidians are an example. they suffered from the same thing as regular christians. they are considered nutjobs solely because they did not have a large enough following.

somehow an organization becomes more credible when it has more members. hence, the converting.

No, it's not the same at all. I work with psychatric patients everyday. They completely lack touch with reality, their morals standards are also typically lacking. If you knew what you were talking about you'd see a distinct difference between trying to make more of reality and completely losing touch with it.

Maybe I'm being a little harsh but that's about the hundredth time we've had this question on here in the last 2 months.

You completly left out the part about them killing other people because they don't believe as they do. Through out history that has always been one of their most popular pastimes.
