I have a question for everybody.
All of us look forward to something that is the *ultimate* in the future sort of like that vacation you always wanted.

What I look forward to is not doom and gloom but the promise of a perfect exsistence Jesus promises his flock.
To live without one worry
Sickness and Death
violence or strife of any kind
Financial burdens
To live with others in complete harmony to see everyone you once knew again, to experience GOD's Kingdom for eternity.

To walk with Jesus and ask him an abundant of questions, and if we are able to cook, I would ask Jesus if he would come over for dinner as I would want to prepare him a feast for a King..:)
You?

Your question seems more like a statement than a question however it is a great statement none-the-less.

I do look forward to seeing Jesus Christ and the Kingdom that is to come. I believe as you stated that we are to trust God in all things, not to be burdened by worries and concerns, know that God will clothe, feed and shelter us throughout our lives.

Now the question is, is when major disappointments come in your life as they do all people, when things get tough as they will for a short time, when people talk about you or slander you behind your back, when walking and doing what Christ and God wants you to do is unpopular among your friends or peers, when you see others with more than you have nicer houses clothes and cars and looks, will your heart still be true to God, will you still love others and follow God's ways.

As you go through life, you will experience highs and lows and lows and highs, they will come one after another and sometimes be mingled together all at once. That is why you must be firmly grounded in your belief and faith so when the lows come you can stay strong and still love others and never grow angry or bitter with others or life.

Then one day you will meet God and Christ and He will say well done good and faithfull child.

I don't look forward to when I'm dead to have a vacation.

I don't think I have to die to be free and happy and to live in harmony with others.

I remember my dead family members, fondly. I don't have to hope that they believed in their hearts for me to see them again. I just remember them and talk about them.

I think some people are missing out on the gloriousness of life by looking forward to being dead and in heaven.

Honey, there are many people of many other religions who also value life and appreciate what they have. They just happen to believe differently than you about Deities.
Even total atheists value life. Many have children, pets, friends and family who they value and love. Isn't being a loving person just another way of valuing life?

May I use your answer?

I would add to this, though: that all parents would love and care for their children and take an interest in their education.
