It has been argued that Jesus may have married as was common and expected at that time, and that he may have had a child or children. It might depend on what type of "temptation" you refer to.

He would not have been able to be the sacrificial lamb, and we would all be eternally doomed. God would have shut down the universe right there on the spot, for without hope there is no reason to continue.
The fact that you're here and asking that question proves there is still hope for you and that God's Love did NOT fail.

TEMPTATION is a REQUIREMENT for him to have been the Messiah, SO WAS SINNING before his conversion. He was tempted in ALL POINTS as we are. THE IMPORTANT POINT HERE IS WHEN, and the RESULT.
Heb 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Jam 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but Yahweh [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].
WHEN is the issue!!
Yahshua was CONVERTED at his baptism, and it was from this point on that he did not sin. HERE IS PROOF from the texts:
2Sa 7:14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. When he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:
NOTICE the fact that it promises that the one this passage is talking to WILL commit SIN, BUT the Yahweh WOULD NOT depart from him, but chasten him WITH THE STRIPES OF THE CHILDREN OF MEN!!!
Solomon never was chastened with strips for sin. BUT YAHSHUA WAS!!
HEBREWS 7:27Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
NOTICE Yashua did ONCE what they did DAILY. What did they do DAILY?? 1. offered for their own sins, 2. offered for the sins of the people. WHAT happened with Yahshua?? HE was beaten and given the STRIPS, by whose strips WE ARE HEALED.
Heb 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
The PASSAGE HERE is partly quoted from 2 Sam.7:14.
He LEARNED obedience by the things which he suffered.
He WAS a man just like other Israylite men, AS A MATTER OF FACT, he could not have been messiah if he wasn't!
Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Heb 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Heb 2:16 For verily he took not on [him the nature of] angels; but he took on [him] the seed of Abraham.
NOTICE: he had the SAME flesh, blood, and NATURE as Abraham's seed!! What type of Nature does Abraham's seed have?? FALLEN!!! SINFUL!! That is why the conversion at his baptism, where he was born of the VIRGIN SPIRIT of Yahweh. The other virgin birth is added and a corruption of Yahweh's plan. MORE could be given, I hope this provokes you to search further.

Then he could not of been the Messiah and would of been an imitator. But since that didn't happen He can rightfully claim the title of Lord of lords and King of kings.

He would have failed to pay for the sins of mankind and there would not be a relationship between God and man. Satan would have won and we would all be hopelessly lost and condemned to never have anything but Hell to face.
