There is this guy who is my age, 16 and we have been hanging out a lot lately. We went out for ice cream friday night and then on Saturday we hung out at my house for 5 hours. The next day, I went out to breakfast with his family and then me and him watched a movie on tv in my basement. We held hands and made out for a while but he never officially asked me out..so idk if he just assumes we are going out or what. I don't want to ask him because that would be immature and could be embarrassing for both of us. Help!

Just enjoy it for what it is!!! Pressure or to much thought will mess all the fun up..........If you are giving each other mutually positive vibes then keep things on the same note!!! DO NOT HAVE SEX WITH HIM!!! THAT would really confuse things!!!

You have it backwards, it's immature NOT to ask. If you can do all that you've stated but not ask a simple clarification question like are we boyfriend and girlfriend then there is a problem.

If you think it's embarrassing now, think how embarrassing it will be if you find out he's been doing the same with other girls?

If i can give any advice it would be to enjoy the moment!!!
If he cares, which he does ( hint: inviting you over to meet his family) he will ask you out. You don't need to ask him because believe me, he already knows what you want. See how things go over the next week, if you find that your relationship is growing you will feel comfortable enough with asking him, so what is the deal with "us".

That would not be immature. Really that would show you are maturing because you will be saying that you do not have time for playing games. Ask him if you guys are. Your time is quite valuable.

its not immature to want to know where you are with a guy? just ask him casually "what are we doing here?!" if ur hangin with his family as well then its not as if hes hiding you away and not showing you off!!! just ask him, then you know where you stand. plus if your not already going out then it may be a prompt for him to ask you....

he's gonna assume your'e going out.
if you make out with someone it's a pretty heavy indication that you like each other.
just hold hands alot, keep acting like you're dating, and you'll be dating

You should have a friend go up to him and ask if you guys are going out.

It's really not that hard to ask him if he considers you to be his girlfriend. It shouldn't really be embarrassing either. I think it's the best thing to do.

When you next see him- kiss him on the neck- just by the shoulder and tell him he's special-> to you
:)
works every time.
