Truex Jr or Earnhardt Jr?

And I don't want to hear any bull about bad equiptment. I'm asking about pure driving abilities.

The reason I'm asking because I keep hearing people talk about DEI colapsing when Dale Jr leaves, but I think Truex will keep that team on the map.

I know what you are getting at. Truex has come along really well in the cup series. I honestly think it has a lot to do with Truex's team. That team he has is the same one that brought victories to Jr when he was in the Busch series. They did the same for Truex in the Busch series.

I think that whole team has a good attitude and a great relationship with their driver. The team has learned together. They have taken it slow and haven't got discouraged trying to win every race. They have progressed. Each race they build more and more toward their success. That makes Truex a good driver.

I do think Jr has got some what discouraged and I can't blame him. I think Jr is a better driver because he has shown that he will push the heck out of his car if needed to get something out of it. Sorry but I have to throw in that his equipment needs to hold together.

I'll have to admit that I have seen Jr make some bad moves at times but still I think next year will show he is the better driver.

Truex will keep them on the map, but he hasn't been in the Cup series long enough to prove that he's better than Earndhardt Jr.

Well, I am not going to use the past stats B.S. Racing is all about "what have you done for me lately". So, I'll use this year and Truex wins hands down. Come on people! Wake up! This year Truex drove all over Jr.

Let's compare their first 2 seasons, Little E. 5 wins, Truex 1 and don't forget Jr also won the Winston(the first and only rookie to do so) in 2000 as well. Not a knock against Truex (he is one of my favorites, as well as my hometown driver.) they both are back to back Busch Champions. Little E. also had better point finishes in his first 2 seasons as well. So if you go by stats, Jr's the better driver. If you look at the past season, Jr was running as well if not better than Truex when the cars gave up on him. However I do believe Little E. made a good choice when he rescued Truex from the Busch East series, and signed him to Chance 2 in 2003.

Dude! Haven't you been watching the #1 car blow past Gordon and do circles around the #48. This guy is hott! DEI is my favorite team. And I know Junior would think that's cool. They even got Mark Martin driving for them. I think the #8 is gonna look like a ghost on the track in 2008. I sincerely hope Junior has a better season in 2008, and I think he will. But Truex got a taste of running up in front, and he likes it there, and he really likes it there! DEI in 2008!

Dale Jr. Once next season starts you will see a different type of driving and he will win some races. I haven't really paid attention to Martin Truex Jr. Dale Jr can race and his first few seasons in Nascar proved that.
