this means i will be awake. any one ever had the same thing?? wat was it like?

Not a big deal. You won't feel anything until the novacaine wears off, then some tenderness for a few days. OTC pain reliever like Motrin should be sufficient.

Follow the instructions so you don't get what's called a "dry socket" (losing the blood clot too soon). THAT can be very painful!

I just had both bottom wisdom teeth pulled noon today. $170 per. It is 4:30pm now. I went with a local. It wasn't bad at all. Except for the taste of the shots. My jaw was numb form my lower lip to my neck. Almost all gone now. There is alot of pulling by the dentist, so be ready for that. Go with the shots if you don't mind being awake. And take the pain pill subscription and fill it. Some acking not real pain. Good luck. Nothing in the throat during pull. The only pads where after in the empty sockets for bleeding. Two hours of biting down.

Usually sedation is used when all 4 are removed and especially if they are impacted. Sedation is more for the doctors convenience than the patients....in my opinion
