I'm gonna agree on the other estimates, with this qualifyer: if you are experienced at butchering your own deer, you can achieve close to 70 lbs of meet out of a 200lb deer. If in experienced, probably 55 to 60 lbs tops.

You can count on recovering 30% of your deer. You will harvest about 60 to 70 lbs of pure meat. I add beef fat to my ground so, if you do that, the weight could exceed 80lbs.

Our newspaper today said that the average deer has 38 lbs of meat. So my guess would be 80 lbs.

Assume thats dressed??? approximately 80 to100 pounds of meat. Its usually somewhere around 40% of its carcass weight

my deer was live wight about 125 lb. and got about 32 lb. of meat but live wight is with the heart lungs guts and every thing so id say about 60-80 lb. of meat depending on how well you take meat off
