Why are there so many people that say when people are nude at home, yuh, im calling the cops, etc. Why are people so uptight about things like that. They reakon it is primitive and yuck. It is 100% natual, it is not healthy to wear clothes all the time. You need to let your skin breath.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being nude at home, as long as you're not right on a busy sidewalk/road. My neighbor is often nude at home and one or two people from the neighborhood have complained because he doesn't close his curtains during the day... but he has a pretty large front yard with lots of trees and bushes, even with the curtains open you really have to look closely to see much if anything. I'm right next door and I'd never seen it until it was pointed out to me! I think it serves them right for peeking/staring if they could even spot him, LOL!

Btw, no one has ever complained to the police and they wouldn't do anything even if he was more easily visible from the street. Most people are much more relaxed here about non-sexual nudity, it's not blanked out on prime-time television either. Nudism isn't equated with porn/sex/etc so much here as it is in the US.

Okay, this answer is from over 15 years of home 'nudist' experience. As long as I am not in open view of the public, I am not breaking a law. I have a fence (wooden) around my property, my neighbor looked out her second floor window and called the cops, she saw my buttocks as I walked into the house. Her view of my yard is limited and only visible from her bathroom window. No other house near me has more then one story.
If I was to do yard work in the front yard compared to sun bathing, jacuzzi, or pool in the back yard, I could and would be fined or arrested for indecent exposure and/or luid and indecent behavior.
My advice is to call the local police department and ask what is acceptable.
As far as people's reaction, the general US publilc is taboo about sex and nudity. Overseas you will see breasts, behinds, and hear words that you would not see in the US. Americans more then not, see nudity as 'dirty' or 'sexual', topless and nude beaches or resorts are rare compared to the rest of the world, and illegal and/or frowned upon in the US. I see nothing wrong with it, anyone that knows me knows that if they come over without calling I might answer the door nude. If they are uncomfortable with it I will put on clothes, but they should have called first.
I am a female and my husband is the same way. We live in the bible belt and we our mid 30's.
Also a lot of people think that you have to be a supermodel to be nude, no one is perfect, clothes tend to hide that. Nudity is not about size of male or female genitals or breasts, but rather about feeling free and unencumbered by clothes. Clothes allow people to put up 'barriers'.

It's no problem if your nude inyour own house and nobody else should worry about it. Well I don't care if you want to walk around your house nude and you have the right to do that if you want

So...you and your wife are nudists and you accidentally hired a house keeper who also happens to be a nudist? Seems like either serendipity or an unbelievable coincidence. Does she cook for you too? Trust me, you don't want to try frying something in the nude.

If you're in your home with your curtains closed then it's none of their business. If you have your curtains OPEN so that others can see, that's indecent exposure and it's against the law. Your skin breathes even with your clothes on, there is nothing unhealthy about wearing clothes unless they're radioactive or something.

There is nothing wrong with being naked in your own home, just don't expect others to want to see you in all your glory. Furthermore, it is perfectly healthy to wear clothes all the time. Your skin breathes perfectly well. Besides, I assume you are naked in the shower. That should be enough.

I never wear clothes at home. If people are looking in my windows then they are trespassing, which is illegal.
Nudity is a freedom not pornographic. My wife and I are very comfortable without clothes. Also, if I am not hurting/abusing anyone then it is no ones business by mine.

Ok. and how many people actually see you while you are nude? If no one saw you there would be no one to complain, right? What you do in the privacy of your own home is your own business, but if you are purposefully flashing your neighbors then they do have the right to complain...

What people do in the privacy of their own home is their own business, I just for the sake of not having to deal with any problems, keep the blinds closed when tromping around the house nekkid...

Its not indecent exposure if you are naked in your own house with the windows open, and not against the law...its against the law to look in people's windows - thats called being a peeping tom!

Be naked or be clothed! Whatever your personal preference is..

I dabble in a bit of both.
