I have never seen so many people as today trying to diagnose their dog's potential illness on a site such as this. I have repeated myself until blue in the face. Take the dog to the doctor. Now. The longer you wait, the worse it could get. Yahoo does not replace professional care, but is merely a place for ideas.

It could be anything from a slight cold in your dog to an obstruction in the airway from eating something she shouldn't have.

No one on here can diagnose the animal, not even a vet, without actually physically seeing her. You need to take your dog to the vet as soon as you can. Make an appointment asap.

Could be parasites (intestinal, lung, or heartworms), infection, asthmatic response to an allergen, or heart disease.

If you're concerned, see your vet. If you don't mind her coughing without knowing why, don't bother asking Yahoo! Answers because nobody here can tell you for sure.

It could be many things from innocuous to quite serious. I've had dogs coughing that had kidney problems, to esophagus issues. to ate something he shouldn't have. The vet will be able to diagnose for sure.

go to your vet. My dog does something similar when we go on a walk and we think it's possible to have asthma.
