I love it but I have to make it I can't stand the thought of another person getting their hands all filthy making me a tuna sandwich and not squeezing out all the liquid from the can. I have to have made it or watched the tuna salad itself being made before I will eat it in a sandwich or anywhere else for that matter! And there shall be no smushy things on it like cucumbers or tomatoes that makes me sick!!I love both but only never next to my tuna!!!!

Who doesn't like tuna fish?
This is probably the most widely eaten type of fish on the planet. And strangely enough it's one of the fishiest fish there is. Fish being fishy is a major complaint of people who don't like fish.

Mmmmmh! I love tuna fish!!!!
MAGIC TUNA FISH SALAD SANDWICHES
2 cans of tuna fish packed in water
1 bunch of green onions
3 jalapeno peppers
1 cup of bean sprouts
1 cup of fresh white mushrooms
1 medium tomato
several leaves of romaine lettuce
1 cucumber
3 tablespoons of mayonnaise (or if you're concerned about fat/calories use fat-free mayo)
parmesan or romano cheese (you can also top with sliced cheddar, monterey jack, pepper jack or muenster)
2- 4 slices of whole wheat bread
Chop the following ingredients into small pieces; green onions, mushrooms, set aside.
Slice jalapenos down the middle from top to bottom, discard seeds, chop into small pieces and set aside.
Slice tomatoes and peel and slice cucumbers, keep these ingredients seperate from the other veggies.
In a large bowl mix 2 cans of drained tuna, 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise thoroughly, add jalapenos, bean sprouts, green onions and mushrooms, stir ingredients until everything is mixed into tuna and mayonnaise.
Spoon this mixture onto a slice of whole wheat bread covering bread evenly, top with cheese, tomato slices, lettuce and cucumber slices and finish with a slice of wheat bread on top. Cut diagonally serve with a slice of pickle and enjoy!

Well I don't, never did since it first appeared here in the mid fifties. My kids, well they are all knocking on a bit actually, laugh at me when I say tuna"fish". Apparently it's been just "tuna" for many years now.
Dates us both a bit eh Suzy?

My two favourite ways of eating tuna is to mash the fish add black pepper and horseradish sauce, spread thickly onto hot buttered toast and consume or mash the tuna add chopped onion and black pepper and make sandwiches. Yummy.

I do. Probably tuna salad is my fav. although I have substitued tuna for salmon when making patties. I like to make tuna salad and use for a dip for Ritz crackers, Frito scoops, or Tostitos.

Yes me I like tuna! I like tuna mayo and sweetcorn in sandwiches. I also like adding tinned tuna to pasta sauces and tuna steak is also nice when it is not overcooked or it is too dry.
