they just think that christians are the only one who highly respect Jesus(PBUH) and not muslims...they're jealous that we give him more respect

I can understand why you would feel a religious obligation to acknowledge Jesus as a prophet, and that is a level of respect that is not even afforded to Christians by other religious institutions nor the followers thereof.
However, from a Christian point of view, the religion you believe in is (at best) apostate. We believe that Jesus was and is the Son of God. We do not approve of His position being lessened. Anti - Christ is well, AntiChrist.
It is also our belief that anyone who denies that Jesus was and is fully God and fully man is not acknowledging God properly.
It is also worrisome that a Muslim would bring OUR GOD into YOUR religion without paying due respect. It seems as though Jesus has been "borrowed" (hijacked is a better word, but I do not intend to offend) for less than pure motives.
That is my opinion, not the one of all Christians, but I hope I speak for other than just myself.
Hon, Adam was a Christ-type, direct me one line of prophecy he put forth. There is none. He deserves no more respect than I do. Will you say Dapper Napper (pbuh) from now on because of that? Think not.

I'm going to venture that it's because PBUH tells them that you are a Muslim and Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God, just a prophet. I imagine that upsets them.

It's just because you're Muslim and they believe you've taken away the entire purpose of Jesus' life by calling him a prophet and not the son of God...
It's the equivalent of Muslims getting mad when Christians make fun of Muhammad.

Because you are calling him a prophet. Christians don't think he was a prophet, but they think he was God in the flesh.

They want to deny that Muslims revere Jesus, because it invalidates much of their hatred of Muslims.
