Before installing any drivers create a restore point.
Then Uninstall any old drivers and restart your computer.
Try the drivers from driverguide.com using the link above. You will likely have to register - it is free.

Do u get any errors while installing...??? You can try connecting the scanner first...and then installing from the CD that came with it.
