I'm about to turn 16 in January and I need breast implants. Yes, need. My breasts developed early (I was a C cup in elementary school) so they sag and have a lot of excess skin. Also they're heavy. I'm 5'8" so C cups don't look big on me. I plan to get breast implants so I can have normal looking breasts. I'll probably go to a D or DD to fill out the excess skin, create more symmetry and make them lift up more. I already looked into breast lifts. I'd need the most extreme type of lift and the scarring is not worth it. Breast implants will give me less scarring and better results. Since I've been the same size for so long and my body developed so quickly, it's probably not going to change very much anymore. So could I get breast implants at 17 in the USA? Should I loose any excess weight before I get them? I plan to get round, smooth saline implants inserted behind the muscle. Please post info. No "be happy with yourself" posts.

My breast are heavy because they sag. Implants will actually take the strain off because they'll stand up more. I doubt I'm going to grow anymore. And I'm not doing this for bigger breasts. I'm doing so I can just have nice looking breasts. I don't plan on getting pregnant until I'm at least 30 and I don't plan on breast feeding at all. I was sick when I was younger so my body took a beating with medication and surgery. So I got robbed on my youthful looks. I could either get treament and be ugly or stay pretty and die. You can fault me for choosing to live. And I told you, I already looked into lifts and the scarring isn't worth it.

My mom already said she'd get them for me because she agrees that my breasts took a beating and shouldn't sag like that while I'm so young. My dad said he'd pay for them. So yes, I have the money and parental consent.

And they might not look super great at 30 but that's 15 years away from now. So I should just have horrible breasts because implants might look bad in the future?

I'm not getting implants to have bigger breasts. I'm getting implants so my breasts won't sag (sagging breasts hurt. No bras help.) and to fill out the excess skin. In order to fill up the skin, I'd need to go up a cup size at least. Also because my breasts sag and developed quickly, I already have stretch marks so getting breast implants can make the stretch marks any worse. Implants can help fill the stretch marks out though.

Push up bras are the stupidest idea in the world. At least will implants, breasts look real. In my case, it'd probably be hard to tell at all because I'm bigger chested already. It won't look like an A cup going to DD cup like Pamela Anderson. With mine, it probably will be hard to tell a difference. Plus if they burst, saline won't kill me.

Breast implants aren't tens of thousands of dollars. Average cost is $4,500 to $5,000.

Sure, you CAN. But, why would you want to? You're not finished growing, yet. Wait until you are finished growing (both physically AND mentally), and then make the decision.

Even if you get implants, and they look good, now, your body is still changing, and they may not look so good when you turn 25 or 30.

take it from me (i have had them) do not get them at 17. You cant i don't think without parental consent. Plus you are still growing, so you can do more damage then good. Most doctors wont touch you until you are 18 or 21. At least the really good doctors. Im glad i waited. I was barely a B cup and i waited till after i had my kids (im 23) I am young. But the pregnancy alone killed my breasts. So if you are ever thinking about having kids in the future i will wait. Because my doctor even said that if we were having more i was going to have to go back in afterwards to repair them again. We arent planning on having more for another 10 years so im okay. In 10 years you need to go back and do it again anyways. Plus its an expensive procedure 5000-7000

Why would you do that? You could still grow, you know. I was a D cup for ages, then all of a sudden I went up to a DD when I turned 15. You don't need implants anyway, you need a lift. The lift will make them look bigger. And it costs less.

Really now, a 16 year old getting breast implants? Not a good idea since you are still growing. So, I'm not sure you would even be able to find a doctor who would do the surgery for you. But hey, its your body, do what you want with it.

since you're still a minor you'd need parental consent. Your surgury would likely be considered cosmetic- unless you could get a doctor to indicate your present condition caused medical issues like back pain or infections (in the excess skin)- so insurance would not cover the procedure. So you're talking BIG $$$$. Would your parents pay tens of thousands of dollars, and would they give permission?
additional comment;
Sounds like you've done your research re the surgical options and you sound like you know what you want, so good luck with the process. I realize looks and self esteem are closely tied together, and yes, you deserve to look young and pretty despite past health issues, but surgury is surgury so do research on surgerns to pick a good one.

the answer is Yes you can but I suggest you wait a little longer until you are 19 perhaps because now your body is still developing and if you wait a little longer and see what happens, you will be satisfied with the surgery, and a C cup even for a woman who is 5'8 is ok, I don't think it's too small. Then again it's your body but my opinion is you should wait a little longer before you have surgery.

why don't you invest in push up bras instead of surgery. at 16 you're still growing. go to victoria secret, and you'll save money.
