What are your thoughts?

I'm with you, Dove: ignore him and he'll go away like all trolls eventually do.

The more attention he gets, the more he shows up with his same old questions.

You got a lot of Catholic answers defending their beliefs. I have been in a Catholic Church and the walls on both sides have statues. From the Saints to whoevers. There's Virgin Mary and in front by the temple a HUGE cross with Jesus being crucified. I would consider that Catholics are worshipping graven images. The Ten Commandments law is "not to make any graven images of anything in heaven or below heaven." What part of "Thou shalt not" don't Catholics understand?

Questions that are asked ad nauseum get added to the list of R&S Drinking Questions. For purposes of maintaining my own list ( http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-xAxTxBwwdaI_hI_ccuSWRrHRfTSCZ1Fs0LaKGWg-?cq=1&p=130) , the definition of "ad nauseum" is "Greater than 250 hits on a Y!A keyword search."

Catholics worshipping statues doesn't rate.

They say they dont worship Mary , yet bow to her statue , they say it is not worship , only Veneration . They say they do not pray to her , then say they ask her to pray for them . Cant you see that they have answers ? These answers come from their canons and so , to them , is justified by these canons . Same as calling the priest "father" ; very unbiblical , yet according to the canon , its ok . So anything they write in their canon is ok , even when it is strongly condemned by God's word .

Sounds like some poor soul who is just wanting some attention. Or else he keeps asking until he gets the answer he wants to hear, not the truth.

I will most likely think that the person is a newby here in Y/A and does not know how to find the questions he/she posts, or doesn't know how to use the search tab.

If Catholics worship Mary like monkeys, then why are there still monkeys?

We are overrun in this section by trolls and bashers, so just ignore them. You might want to remember their names so you won't even have to bother reading their silly, repetitious questions.

It is no doubt idoletry to sit and worship statues/crosses with jesus and Mary. That is no different to Hinduism/Buddism. Afterall, Jesus did say : the Father is greater than I. So what you doing worshipping him?

i agree with you. it's just some anti-catholic who has never bothered to take the time to understand catholic belief. that same person would probably condemn me and my fellow lutherans for having statues of Jesus in our churches.
