Some believe that at the exact same moment everywhere, around the World no matter where they are People will vanish out of thin air and appear in Heaven others believe that one day those who are going to be raptured will simply drop dead and die wherever they are and their souls will instantly go to heaven while the rest of Humanity will go through the tribulation and get marked by the Devil. The chosen who go to Heaven will get new bodies that don't age and eternal life they will be part of the marriage supper of the Lamb this is suppose to be a giant family reunion and celebration in Heaven People saved through Christ are to be awarded for their works by God.
I think Christ is coming back but not the way People expect.

Matthrew 24:21,22 says: "for then their will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the worlds beginning until now, nor will occur again.
In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short."
If the chosen ones were all raptured out then what difference would it make how long it took?
Proverbs 2:21 For the upright are the ones that will reside in the earth and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it. As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it.
Everywhere in the bible it says it is the wicked that are leaving and the righteous are the ones who are staying in the earth.
Psalms 37:10 and just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; and you will certainly give attention to his place and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth. and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
Psalms 37:29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth and they will reside forever upon it.
That would have been a good place to mention a rapture?
but it says nothing about it there.

Yes, I believe in the rapture but disagree with many in the church that state it will be a pre-tribulation rapture. I believe in a mid-trib rapture (just before or just after the anti-christ declares himself god and sits in the Holy of Holies in the rebuilt Temple). The people who live on earth and recognize they are a sinner and confess those sins to Christ, believe Christ is God in the flesh and died for their sins, was buried and raised from the dead. They will be taken to heaven in the rapture. Everybody else must choose, Christ or satan.
Many people will accept Christ and become tribulation saints.
Many will be martyred for the faith or dies in the judgments handed down by God during this time to try & get our attention. choose Christ before it is too late.

No I do not hold to that teaching. We began with several questions: What is the Catholic teaching on the Rapture? There is none; there is no traditional Christian teaching on the Rapture. It is a late, and rather suspect, arrival on the scene

The rapture was made up in the 1800's it is heresy. It doesn't follow Holy Scripture or Holy Tradition.

Many believe it happens at the beginning of the tribulation, which is nothing more than wishful thinking. According to the bible, it doesn't happen until right before the final wrath, and of course no one knows when that will be. If you want to know what happens, read the book of Revelation, it's a very short book and its pretty clear.

okay, here it is in a nutshell: yes, I believe in it. we will be taken out of the way of the wrath of God, the chosen will be with the LORD for eternity, everyone else will either accept Him or reject Him, those that reject Him will receive the mark of the beast by satan, those who accept Him after the rapture will have to be killed for His namesake. Period.
