The camera (with the kit lens) is not exactly valued at "$999". It's available at most stores (locally) for $450 (plus $100 for the lens). You are getting mostly stuff that are.. second rated. Slow memory card.. cheap tripod and a cheap camera bag.

Go to B&H photo video. They have never tried to sell me anything I didn't want, or need. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ It may cost a few dollars more, but you have the peace of mind.

If it appears to be too good to be true, it usually is. Remember P.T. Barnum's saying; "there is no such thing as a free lunch." The camera or accessories could be refurbished (returned for repair and then resold), they also could be "gray market" which is products that don't meet the standards of quality sent to their primary dealers and "dumped" in bulk to jobbers and wholesalers.

Check out the prices of reliable, long established dealers and be suspicious of any prices that discount significantly (more than 10%) below them.

Read about them on www.resellerratings.com. Chief danger may be they are selling grey market cameras with no US warranty, And they will aggressively upsell probably. The accessories look cheap. I would go with B&H and rest easy.

The net price looks OK, but they've inflated the value of everything so it looks like you're getting a bigger bargain than you are.

I'd take a pass on them.
