I’ve been with my boyfriend for about 10 months, he’s my first sexual partner and he’s been with 2 other girls. I’m thinking it’ll be easier if we both get tested for STD’s incase in the throws of passion we don't have any condoms plus in the end the cost add up (we use a lot) or we don’t have them on hand so have to skip and it’s just easier in general without.
Last time we met (a week ago), again didn’t have any condoms and ended up having sex without, that has been the only time we haven't used protection and we’ve had unprotected oral quite a few times (please save the lecture, I already know and i'll get tested anyway). He’s used protection in the past and doesn’t have symptoms but I still wanna get tested otherwise I’m gonna be paranoid even though it’s really unlikely.
How do go about asking him, I’m REALLY worried he’s gonna be offended and take it the wrong way?!

No, seriously you are a smart girl good for you. I don't know you and I am so proud of you. If he acts out of line he is a jerk and hiding something. Just say that you both want ot get tested. You go together it is an even playing field and that way your both play it safe. By the way you just gave me hope again for relationships. :)

Don't worry about offending him, it's always a good idea to make sure you're std free. Theres nothing that will spoil a momentous occasion like a wedding or birthday party like a good case of the clap. Tell him that you don't think he has an STD, but it's better to be safe than sorry. You can thank me when he tests positive for aids. (Just kidding)

Sweetie, STDs or not, you should be using protection EVERY time. Are you looking to get pregnant? Even if you're on the pill there is ALWAYS a possibility when you have unprotected sex. Unless you're married to the guy, use a condom and stop using the "it's too expensive" or "in the throes of passion" or "that it's easier to go without" nonsense.
You're going to end up in trouble or back on Yahoo asking if you're knocked up if you keep playing this dangerous game.

I wouldn't be offended.
In my small town, you can get tested for hiv for free.
I just went a fews days ago, and I was the only one
there besides the staff. So if I had a gf with me,
we could have had both of us tested at the same time.

It is possible for one to have an STD and be completely unaware of it, so the safest route would be to get tested together, and, if necessary, start treatment together as well while abstaining from carnal delights.

It is a delicate situation. Just make sure he understands that you trust him. It's that you don't trust the other two girls he's been with. They may have lied to him about their STD status. Tell him you want to make the appointment and go together. For peace of mind. If you reinforce your trust in him.....he'll probably go along with it.

The shock of the question will surprise him, so the presentation needs to be handled right.
Maybe mention that you heard on the grape vine that (pervious ex) had gotten something, and that he should get with this doctor quick, and won't get any until he does.

get tested together so hes not as offended. explain that even though there probably is nothing wrong, you just want to be safe. planned parenthood offers cheap [maybe free if you qualify!] std/hiv testing.
