Of all time? It's hard for me to give my best opinion, as I didn't see some of the old timers race. Here's my list (seven drivers), as all of them had dominant streaks in their careers. The criteria are at least 3 championships, with at least two of them being consecutive. No particular order......

Cale Yarborough
Dale Earndhardt
Jeff Gordon
David Pearson
Darrell Waltrip
Lee Petty
Jimmie Johnson will most likely be on that list someday.

This year it was obviously Jimmie Johnson, but I think the all time Nascar king is still Richard Petty & my vote goes to A.J. Foyt in Indy car racing, "Big Daddy" Don Garlits in drag racing & John Force in Funny Car & Art Arfons in jet powered vehicles & Warren Johnson in super stock.
