You also need to have Windows Media Player 11 on your computer and then enable file sharing on Windows Media Player.

When you enable file sharing on Windows Media Player, a list of devices you want to connect to should come up on the screen. If you have just your computer and PS3 using the same wireless router, then only one device should be listed and the PS3 will be listed as an "Unknown Device". You then enable the "Unknown Device" to file share.

On your PS3 you should look under Media Server for Photos or Music and you should see your computer name under Media Server. Also, it may take a few minutes for the PS3 to recoginze the computer.

If you don't want to do it wirelessly, then just copy your files onto a USB drive or SD card using your computer and then insert the USB drive or SD card into the PS3 and copy it to the PS3's hard drive.
