There are many questions that are left for personal choice. (Like whether you like broccoli or not) Re. Capital punishment, it would seem from Scripture that YHVH would only be in harmony with one choice. He did give us rules of conduct, and He set down rules as to what to do to lawbreakers.

Christians can not be divided on this issue-the Bible is clear. One who calls himself a Christian , yet is against capital punishment-is confused, and may not be a Christian.

Yes. There isn't one group called "the Christians." Christianity is a generic term for thousands of independent religious traditions, each with their own particular dogmas and doctrines.
