America is nominally Christian and generally indifferent to history; in contrast to other Western countries, which are anti-Christian and hostile to history.

America is not a Christian country but 80% of people in the USA say they are Christian when polled. Whether they are or not only ALLAH(Subhanna wa ta'ala) knows. America was also never a Christian county and wasn't founded on Christianity. Many of the founding forefathers were Deists who didn't believe in God.

Yes, the majority of Americans consider themselves Christian. But I don't think the majority "doesn't care for history".

America is no longer a true Christian society. Our laws speak of this. We were founded on a Christian princible. And even then America was wrong. Because of slavery.
America has gone completely from God's law. America's God is wealth and power.

All the Christians I know, dear Sara, care very much about history, myself included. In fact, the more I learn of world and U.S. history, the more I enjoy it.

I'm confused as to this question and why you would ask it. You give no details. I am an American, a Christian and absolutley love to study history.

It doesn't care much for anthropology, since an overwhelming number of Americans believe we were created relatively recently. So sad.
