Are the ones who constantly offend GOD?

What offends you the most:
When people say something about you?
your family and friends
Someone's race or culture
Someone's Sexual Preference
Someone's Appearance
Religion
GOD and Jesus...

I don't think anyone should offend or insult another person but what I take offense to mostly is when people mock GOD and Jesus Christ
You?

Hi Crimson,

I want you to know that I am sorry if I have ever offended you by offending God. I do offend God daily and on purpose, but I have my reasons to hate Him, just as you obviously have your reasons to love Him. I do not want to hurt you or anyone else who loves Jehovah, so I would like to give you a heads up right from the beginning and advise you that reading my answers to religious questions is probably not a good idea. In fact you may want to block me all together, just in case I forget who you are and accidental add you as a contact.

By the way, I'm very rarely offended by anything people say, unless it has to do with child abuse. I get very bent out of shape when I think a child is being harmed. Anyway I respect everyone's right to choose to be offended by certain subjects, just as I choose to be offended by how some people treat their children. Therefore, I will of course do my best not to answer any of your questions from now on to avoid offending you. I am also going to block you from my account just in case you forget who I am, accidentally read my posts and then inadvertently get hurt.

It was nice to meet you and I feel a bit sad that I will probably not get the chance to get to know you on here (I've heard some interesting things about you from other users), but it is probably for the best. Take care.

Sincerely,

Vitamin C

EVIE
is the perfect example of how Christians *offend* others . She does NOT state " * I BELIEVE * GOD loves everyone and only he is perfect, therefore only GOD can judge us. "
She INFORMS us that we all must believe this 'universal fact' LOL , (which of course she has no scientific proof ) . She implies that anyone who does not believe this is stupid and/or evil . Yet she demands we "Live and let live" .
Typical Christian self righteousness and hypocrisy . That's what offends me !

SamDo1 , I think you doth protest too much . Having a bit of trouble down there are ye ? LOL

Crimson . I'll consider stopping my mocking of God and Jesus when A. You prove that they actually exist(ed) . B. When you prove who or what they are . and C. Prove that your God wasn't some sort of vile creature who killed the first born of an entire nationality to influence the leader . Or that your god didn't painfully drown almost every living creature on earth because he was displeased .
In fact , I'll settle for Just A. Fair enough ?

I'm extremely offended by anyone that will purposefully attack someone else's religion. Especially when christians and catholics do it because part of THEIR religion advises them to basically be nice to everyone and show them the way by way of their happiness. A TON of them do it and it's pretty much the most blasphemous thing that they can do. They are the ignorant fools that God is always talking to in the bible when he says things along the lines of love thy neighbor so that he may see the light. What these pompous aholes believe is that because someone is different THEY are better than them. But their own bible says to treat others as they would like to be treated and yet will make fun of someone else's religion... and then get mad when someone attacks theirs. If you are someone who does that you will go to God's worst place because he cannot respect you enough to let you into heaven. Actions and words speak volumes of your character and if your character attacks another's character than you will live a non-enlightened life and be ultimately miserable. I actually left the church when I was young because even WHEN I WAS 12 I was old enough to see that hate and misunderstanding and ignorance are exactly the kinds of things that were released by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. God did not create those things, a supreme being that offers eternal and happy life would not be able to by the very definition. Those are all man-created things that will damn you if you allow them to consume you. My last point is this:

Why in hell would a supreme being want you to FIGHT someone instead of enlighten them to your thoughts? Try to get them to see your way or at least have a free exchange of ideas? Why would he spend all that time creating you to see the life he gave you wasted on hate and ignorance? The only people in this world who truly are damned are the "simpletons" - which are immoralistic people. Remember that it is never alright to judge someone, EVER! Especially when you know nothing of their character. To do so you yourself are being blinded from the very entity you are trying to rid your life of: SATAN If you cannot see that, I fear for you when you get to the Heavenly Gates. The least you can do is tolerate someone else's beliefs. Anything less is not only criminal, it's blasphemy.

And that's nice: another ignorant post from a christian, "I can already hear the atheists typing ...to mock you..." Ignorance and misunderstanding...

Mocking GOD and Jesus Christ is a big part of my religion.

Someday you may learn that you have no right to take offense to things that other people do that have no real affect on your life. Like if they use foul language or have gay sex behind closed doors. It's not your problem, therefore none of your business. But when you use your political power to create and enforce laws based on your religion that dictate the way someone else lives their life, THAT is reason to be offended. You have taken your beliefs beyond yourself and forced them upon someone else. To me, it is the same as if I forced you to mock god. You don't want to, so you don't have to. That's fine with me. You need to learn to leave other people alone. Choose your battles wisely.

Narrow point of view you have here.

Some things just aren't a matter of opinion. Magic and gods are fiction.

Why should anyone respect irrational beliefs?
That is the question that needs answered. Lies and madness deserved to be revealed for what they are.

Secular people have made most of the great contributions to the world. Darwin's contributions to medicine alone outweigh all the "benefits" we can attribute to all the world's prophets.

For you to be offended about my opinions on gods is like me getting offended if you mock Mother Goose. There is no difference and if you can't see this then you are stupid, AND living a lie.

I am most offended at being labeled as evil or blind or stupid by people who "love" God so much that they have forgotten to love their fellow human beings. Perhaps I'm not actually a human being, as one "Christian" here says "heaven is for people, not atheists. What, I'm not even a person? Well, thank you, Christian, or should I say "Schmistian"? Your God is your God and is nothing to me. That fact that you feel reverence toward it does not mean that I owe it anything nor to you if you use it as a basis to insult me. If you do that, both you and your God deserve all the insult I care to give.

I tend to get most offended by radical feminists. Not most feminists mind you. The kind of feminist that wants equality is just fine. I'm for that. I'm talking about people who say women are superior than men. For whatever reason, it just makes me really angry.

God not so much. I was raised in a very liberal household without any specific beliefs and my parents always taught me that no one religion or way of thinking is more right than another. As far as I can see, followers of god are no more or less likely to be moral than Atheists and vice versa.

Well chances are if they are mocking God, they are athiest. Which means to them, they are mocking nobody but the people who worship a force that does not exist. I am not athiest, but asking an athiest to believe in God is likely like asking them to not just believe in, but worship, Santa Claus. These people are likely the people who need to see to believe.

Also, I would certainly hope that God would be above getting offended by people who are ignorant (simply meaning unknowing) of him.

Well the only time I am offended is when someone mocks my family or when politicians mock the American People and try to pass various bills against our wishes. I would have to say God is fair game though.

What offends me most is when I post a verifiable fact, in respect of something from the bible or christian dogma, and get a load of abuse and thumbs down.
So ignorance offends me most, but I can live with it Doesn`t it say don`t mock the afflicted..!!
