man is incapable of stopping every psychotic person out there who has an uzi or a bomb strapped to their chest. so why doesn't god help out every now and then kill the ones we can't?

fireball, old reliables??? the only reason why you'd get any silence from an atheist on those comments is from the awe at how stupid they are.

wired, we have all those, because we've realized it's best not leave these sorta things up to god, because he doesn't exist.

word of faith, so then you're saying god had nothing to do with the flood. it would take the work of man to cause the flood by your own logic. so man intentionally killed himself? that's stupid.

Profit is what makes the world turns.
Just like the Medical field Probably has came up with a cure for a few diseases and sickness but the Government probably discarded them because If they did give out a cure then their would be less people buying medications and so on, the only things they do release is some vaccines for illnesses that are 100% going to kill you in a matter of weeks or months, But the reason they only do that is because they don't want profit to die off, less ppl less money, just as cops Dont do much as they should do, Unless of course the payment is good, Plus I found to be true that most people who join the military join it because it pays good and the only reason why they want to go to college to be officers is to get more, and about fighting for this country lol thats a laugh the war going on over their is s war to protect one mans financial interest its all about money, it is the same with people you was talking about they don't. because their waiting for the countries that need that to pay them enough money. Just as I don't really think their looking for bin laden anymore their just protecting bushes financial interest. I kid you not that is the way it is, but of course im sure their are soldiers who did join the army for the right reasons but not very many I work, at a military base and the college their most officers think just because their officers their better then you. but thats just not officers either. I talk out of experince you cant get anyone to do anything unless you give them profit of some sort. thats my anwser. God has nothing to do with all the things goin on. He Promises he would not interfere. and you know what I go to a church that is about thesize of a small living room. and other christians will go to big fancy churches and will overlook just any church and will not judge a church by the teacher which you should otherwise you'll be led astray by the false teacher, but most people judge by what church they go to by how nice it is how "expensive it looks" I kid you not" and I judged by how well i knew the pastor. My Pastor teaches tolerance of all religions. and he is the only pastor that i know that does that. Because hating and pointing fingers is no way to bring anyone to Jesus.

No, I don't believe that God has an obligation to stop crazy people. God doesn't have an obligation to the human race, period. He chose to redeem Adam and Eve when they sinned, and fortunately for us that includes all their offspring. He isn't obligated to (and doesn't) go around cleaning up tragedy and evil behind Lucifer (aka Satan, aka the devil). "Crazy" people, often through genetic defect, and just as often through their own abuse (alcohol, drugs) are a result of sin (evil), and God has to let it run its course so that not one person can ever say that they don't know the end result of evil. It's the only way.....other than making automatons out of us by making it impossible for us to think/do evil).....to be sure sin won't rise up a second time. We have to be as disgusted with all of it as God is. Then we will be save to inherit the new earth.

God is spirit. Man is physical. God has to work through physical means to stop psychos. He works through MAN. Look at the kids in Germany who were just thwarted from carrying out a school massacre they had planned for tomorrow? Do you not think God had something to do with stopping that?

I use the text from Matthew 13:24-30:
The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
Mat 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Mat 13:26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
Mat 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
Mat 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
Mat 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
This question entails the mystery of the created will. If they plucked up the tares, they might also pluck up the wheat. As we know, prisons are a field white unto the harvest. In there they know that they they are bad. Many who qualify for God to have intervined and destroyed before they did their own evil. But, they are the wheat that would have been rooted up as tares.
Ultimately, God does stop every psychotic person in the final judgment. Currently, He is not in the business of destroying men's lives, but to save them. But what of the lives evil is presently destroying?

You've left out the crazy people who end up running countries and empires. Considering what has slid by so far, the theologians are on firm ground saying God does not change.

No. That and everything like that is the corporate obligation of humanity. We cannot be a new order of being if God keeps on interceding on things that we ought to learn how to handle.

Why would he be obligated to stop them? Just because he can? You could theoretically stop them by joining the Marines, going to Iraq, and shooting them. Does that make you obligated to join the Corps?

God loves everybody. It doesn't matter what sin someone has committed or what their mental state is God loves them and every single person is on this earth for a reason. God wants us to see these things happening, He wants us to love these people no matter what.
