One first has to be receptive to the idea of a God. We only find what we're seeking.

Atheists do know how life was created, the Bible records it very clearly, but they simply reject it out of hand because God is the source. Atheism is an ideology "not based" on fact, but bias and hyperbole. The fact that life exists at all is more than enough "evidence" for God. The plethora of requirements for life on earth, the minutiae of absolute necessities that must be coordinated on earth and within the cosmos "perfectly" in order for life to exist is evidence of a Creator. Science not only supports this, it screams it from the rooftops when these required elements are examined honestly. That atheists state absolutely that there is no God, based upon a "perceived" lack of evidence is evidence that atheism is a faith based ideology without any scientific integrity as they would "never" make the absolute statement that there is no God otherwise, because when it comes to human science there are no absolutes and there is "always" the possibility that God exists (He left no other option). Atheists may choose not to/refuse to believe, but that's the extent of their influence when it comes to the truth about God. I sincerely pray that all atheists seek Christ in truth because He will set them free and grant them salvation if they repent and sincerely place their considerable faith in Him instead of their fallible human atheist role models who can't even save themselves from sickness and death.

It seems like many can't or won't acknowledge what could be God to them. They seem to not want to know Him, because that would mean they are obligated to believe and follow Him. It takes an open heart and the desire to seek Him, which they don't have and/or don't want.

Because you see things that are not god, but you cannot tell the difference. So you just assumne it was god. Like "Dear God please make the light turn from red to green. I am late for work. Amen" Dude, the light was going to change anyway. It has nothing to do with god. When people want to believe in something, they will look for signs to convince themselves it is true. They stretch and twist the truth just to make it fit. Notice that every argument for the existence of your god or any god relies on logical fallacies. I wonder why that is.

Just remember WE LIVE BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT!
when you truly love God following him is something you do naturally... Sure the work is hard but its so worth it!
To me God is something no one can talk me out of because after encountering God there's no way you can ever see life the same!
BTW i love your SN!
i love the C28 store!
And i love Jesus my Lord and Saviour above all!

A few years ago I was in graduate school and did a project on ghost photography. The class was about amazing claims and the way people believe in them and "prove" that they are real.
Well, I pulled up Photoshop and manipulated several regular photographs to make them look like they had "orbs," "vortexes," and other things that your typical ghost photographer looks for while doing a ghost hunt. I did a very good job.
As part of the project I posted those pictures on a well known ghost photography board. The people thought they were amazing and TOTAL proof that ghosts and real. I got banned from the board when I later revealed that I had faked them.
You want to believe in God so you see everything around you as proof that he is real. To someone who doesn't, your proof is just another chance thing that happens all the time.

Because you equate what you have seen as evidence of God's existence. I equate what I have seen as evidence of a man made explanation for what we cannot explain. I believe in something but I will never know what that is and all I can ever do is theorize what it could be. I feel totally opposite of you, I think following him is easier than it is to believe in him. MANY christians "follow" not all truly believe, actions speak volumes on that one.

I think it would be because I have a stricter guideline as to what constitutes evidence than you do. For me, evidence needs to be demonstrable. Truth cannot be disputed, but what you say is true can be.

I have seen "evidences" happen to my family. But it was just coincidence and imagination in my opinion.

If you have empirical evidence of the existence of God I'd be most interested in seeing it. You'd be the first to provide it!
