The pups will just be mixed breeds just like your dog. There is no standard. As a guess they may look like Chi's with very wild hair, but that's only a guess. You're right in saying you don;t know what they will grow into. They will just be small mixed breeds. I hope both dogs will be fixed soon. If the owner of the female gets her spayed right away it will be best. There are many multi mixed breeds like this in shelters. There is no need to breed more. Edit: I'm glad they all have homes. Sadly for each pup though one in a shelter will die. Thats the real "Bitter Debbie Downer" to me Edit 2: Nandina for me it's one of the hardest part of rescue. When you truly care you take your turn to hold them while they are put to sleep so as they know love in their final moments. So hard in fact with dogs that most of what I have done has been with cats. Not that it's much easier, but a tad. When I'm with a dog and look into their eyes as they pass I see a dog of my own that I loved with all my heart. Only difference was she was pleading for relief from her pain. The ones at the shelter plead for their life. It's true to say I'm crying as I type this edit.
