There are many Biblical references where God speaks to us, and we - Him... but I am looking for verses that reference speaking the truth in love - or to be gentle and gracious when you speak, etc.

Example:
Colossians 4:5-6 Behave yourself wisely [living prudently and with discretion] in your relationships with those of the outside world (the non Christians), making the very most of the time and seizing (buying up) the opportunity.
Let your speech at all times be gracious, seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never be at a loss] to know how you ought to answer anyone [who puts a question to you.]

Can you help me find other similar references?
Thank you in advance.

Op_Mommy and Earnest! Thank you for these so far!!! There's 2 folks in my life that God has laid on my heart - who are getting buffetted by the devil... and I just wanted to help them have scripture to meditate on about how to respond to their detractors....

These help SO much! I hope there are more... Peace!

Grace isn't here right now, may I relay a message to her?
I believe she's out on the corner in a Santa suit ringing a bell.
