even though there's no proof of God, would you agree that there is evidence of a designer? Like the fine-tuning of the universe and morality that goes beyond survival.

We have no idea whether the universe was fine tuned, and there is no morality that cannot be explained by evolution. Every social animal has a form of altruistic behavior, otherwise they would have all killed themselves and gone extinct. Read "the selfish gene" for details. Altruism is heightened in humans because we have language. If you look around at the real world, you will see that altruism is often used as a social tool for people to get what they want. It creates social protection, in grouping, and security and increases survival advantages foe everyone. What about it seems mysterious to you?

There is no evidence of a designer.

1. Show me a watch that was designed from nothing. Strike that, show me ANY human artifact whose present design is the product of a single designer.
2. Show me a watch that arose from purely natural means, show me a watch that was not made. Now show me an eye that didn't arise by purely natural means, show me an eye that was made. What's sauce for the designer-goose ought to be sauce for the manufacturer-gander. But here the projection of intelligent intervention breaks down : falsifying the initial projection of intelligent intervention.

If we are looking at the known laws and making a fine tuning argument, then the universe is fine tuned to produce black holes, and life is an accidental byproduct. Morality based on care requires no deity. Next?

No.. You would have to show this 'fine tuning'. Also what does a universe that is 'created' look like versus one that is 'not created'? If you can't answer that then it's beyond presumptuous to say you know what one looks like that has been created,

Sorry but this is little better than wishful thinking. It's the presumption that there is a creator that leads someone to assume the universe was created,

Take out the presumption and no evidence leads to that conclusion.

The fine tuning argument is akin to a puddle being surprised that its pothole conforms to its every aspect.

There's no evidence that a universe can exist except with the qualities our universe has, and if it didn't have those qualities, we wouldn't be here to marvel at them.

Morality is a cognitive concept, that extends from the emotions of love, sympathy and empathy that every social animal needs to survive.

No. I would wholeheartedly disagree. Considering the poor construction of the human body, dwindling natural resources, and the tendency of one species to become incredibly destructive in higher numbers over another- I would say that a designer would be pretty much ruled out at this point.

Unless, that is, it was an UNINTELLIGENT designer... I would find it easier to believe that a creator would have been inherently stupid...

I'm lovin' it.

No, philosophy shows that a society can only thrive by having basic morals, and occasionally, sacrificing a person or people (not religious sacrifice, I mean things like devotiing your life to something) for the good of the society.

No. I wouldn't. Sorry. But the fact that the universe is the way it is isn't proof that someone designed it.

No, the complex order of the universe can be explained by natural phenomena. There's no need to postulate a designer.

Zero-evidence. That "fine tuning" is an illusion. The people who argue it ignore the fact that millionfold changes are not fine tuning.
