Yes, he is my son!

At 17 I was told that my body wouldn't be able to handle pregnancy and it could leave me paralyzed if I even managed to get pregnant. Through a serious of ideas it was decided to regulate hormones and to prevent pregnancy I would be put on birth control!

4 years later I found out I was pregnant. THe father of my son had terrible medical history: epilepsy, MS, and luekemia. Both of his sisters had died etc... Terrible. And then there was me and the thought of being paralyzed! And the thoughts of giving birth to a child that could die etc. It was all overwhelming.

Through many sleepless nights I decided that I would not abort the child just becuase of waht I was afraid of. God wouldn't give me more than I could handle.

For 9 months, I was completely miserable. I was seeing my OB weekly. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I was diabetic, had preeclampsia, and I threw up 3 x a day. I was MISERABLE! At some points I was in the hospital every other week. FINALLY- They induced my labor 2 weeks early and I gave birth to an INCREDIBLY healthy baby boy.

And guess what: I am still walking! :-)

So, I have this child that God wanted me to have and made it possible. He is the biggest blessing I have ever had. I smile when I look at him and PRAISE GOD that I was able to carry him inside of my body and outside and that I can walk with him to the park!

Thank Jesus for the miracles of life!!!!!

Ahh, Miracles.

Let me tell you something.
Miracles are like Modern Day Magic Tricks.
They always have been.

Go on YouTube. Search for "burger Magic".
And watch an Episode of Chris Angel.

You'll swear their so called magic is Devil's work."
You'll swear it's real.
But it's not. It's all an illusion.
We set the importance on it, & make it out to what we want it to be.
I am sorry to say this, but Miracles do not exist.
Nothing can go out side of Natrual Laws.
If you drop an apple off a 2 story house, the apple will fall 10/10 times.
Now...Maybe a flying pig may swoop down and save the apple just before it lands, And you would think to yourself, Woah, miracles do exist. But upon closer inspection, you will see that was no flying pig, but your mom who had just tripped on a log.

Some say the birth of a child is a miracle.
I have a child whom I love with all my heart.
That is not a miracle. It's a natural process by which our species procreates.
I have not seen any seas splitting or alchemy-like substance changes, which I would actually describe as miraculous.

So, no.

Life is a miracle, but not some supernatural hocus-pocus that suspends the laws of nature, but nature itself.
Nature is enough for me.
There is not boogey man-good or bad-- that suspends the laws of nature.
There are laws we don't understand yet. Ideas we can't grasp or wild occurances.
As far as god jumping on my bed and telling me to move so I don't get hit by a bus, no. Or praying for my team to win, and they win! No. I wouldn't bother a god with any of that. Would you?
if there was a god or goddess, would she have figured out how to disarm us, yet?
That's my "prayer."

I once went to a holy resort with my wife and sister-in-law. We didn't know that there was a battle going on there between soldiers and rebels. We spent about an hour in that battlefield not hearing any sound nor seeing other people. When we left, gunfire and mortar shots were exchanged in the very place we left. Residents near the area were amazed on seeing us alive and well. They said that the battle has been raging on for days.

I know this may not be a big miracle but i mean miracles dont always come in big shapes and sizes lol

Anyway, i was really upset that my BFF wasnt in my class.. we were SO tight. I mean INSEPRABLE!!!

I cried alot... then i prayed to Allah to make me feel better about the situation and find a solution...

An hour later my BFF calls me and we talk 4 2 hours and she gives me such good advice... We cried on the fone and we accepted that we were not in the same class...

the reason it was such a big situation is becuase i only c her in skool. we dont go out or anything thats why i cried wen we were in the same class, that meant we wouldnt talk as much as we used to...

ANYWAY, We cried and cried.... after that i felt SOOOOO much better!!

I thanked Allah soooo much

Sub'han Allah, he helped me through my BFF....

Sub' han Allah!

Yes, my own birth.

When my mom was 3 months pregnant with me, she developed a tumor on her womb the size of a football. The dr. wanted to do a radical hysterectomy and my dad was all for it. My mom asked for 2 weeks to think it over and was warned that she could be dead in that time because the tumor grew so quickly. She and my grandmother prayed a Novena and by the end of it, the tumor was gone. It returned 6 weeks after I was born, quickly became the size of a grapefruit, and my mom had the surgery.

Oh, and my mom had asked for St. Gerard Majella to pray for her, because he's the patron for difficult pregnancies and for mothers. I was born 12 days overdue...on the anniversary of St. Gerard's death.
