It's a 20GB & has been playing all of my games just fine (PS1, PS2, & PS3) since I got it for Christmas last year. All of a sudden a couple of days ago, it stopped letting me play my PS2 games. Is there anything I do to fix this issue?

If you have the 80GB PS3, then it might be because the PS3 isn't compatible with that particular game. The 20GB and 60GB PS3's had the best backward compatibility. The 80GB PS3 is backward compatible with PS1 and PS2 games, but it can't play as many as the 20 and 60GB PS3's.

the only difficulty you may desire to objective that isn't even unavoidably restoration that's to format the no longer ordinary stress and reinstall issues (it extremely is assuming that's a PS2 utility problem), if that's a no longer ordinary ware problem then you're probable out of effective fortune. p.s i'm in basic terms around 50% confident this would artwork.

it could be manny thing i hope u have a worrty

a simaler thing happed to my ps2 it stoped play blue dice (ps1) then black dics (ps1) then it stoped playing the ps2 discs

i think the same thing may be hapeing to u (i gave up on play station ) if this is it it could be that your disc reader is going out (the little thing that reads the laser reflction off of the disc )
