I'm a Christian myself and this totally torks me off! It makes it harder for the REAL Christians!

Tell me about it. I like to go on yahoo answers to see if I can help anybody of the same faith as me (Christianity) and there are a lot of people who are so-called Christians and disobey every law in the Bible. Unfortunately many people think Christianity is a religion where you don't have to do anything, but there's always something to do. I hear you, because many people at my school make fun of Christians because othersa have messed up.

I agree with u...in fact in islam there is a hadith that says that backbiting is worse than fornication...and if u think about it...it is true, coz it breaks people´s honest relationships apart, there is no more trust between human beings, no more care for each other and all that at the end compromises the well being of the individual and of the society as well.
Check this video about backbiting...and keep in mind Jesus (pbhu) gave that bad example to us.

Because not all people who say they are Christians really are Christians. And, even if one is a Christian, such as myself, gossip is so hard to resist, especially when you have no Christian friends in your school. There's something tantalizing about it, prob cuz it makes you feel better about yourself (no matter how much people deny that).

Because they need to feel better about themselves. They need to bring other people down in order to bring themselves up. It's a sad thing, but it happens all the time. I don't like it either. If these people thought a little more about how they might be treating others, they wouldn't do it.

why do people talk about other people behind their backs! Its wrong for any one to do it rthe Christians that are doing it to have obviusly not commited.
