She is 23 and her choice was her boyfriend or losing her 2yr. I know there are women who give up their children to their father I just don't understand why.

She must be crazy. I wouldn't give my children up for anyone or anything. I am 24, and I have 3 sons. Nothing in the world could make me want to give them up. I love them so much! She seems like she is a very selfish person.

ok people usually give there kids up if they feel they are not stable enough to raise a child or if they are too young to raise kids or if they just want to have some time to think about a family just not right away some people give there kids up to people who cant have kids or who want kids but dont have any of there own and some give there kids up to the farthers cause they know they cant raise the child either there not stable or have no place for a child in there lives right now these are all reasons why someone gives a child up not cause they dont love them but its cause they do they want to give there child better then what they have for them and the childs intrest is always taken at heart of where the child would be better off or more safer then with them exspecially if they are unstable or cant support the child.

do you mean losing her bf or losing her 2 yo... some girls, especially at that age, don' t realize how STUPID they are. I'm 24 with a 16 month old son, and would NEVER leave him for anyone or anything. My fiance and I have an understanding. My son is #1, every day of the week, no matter what. I love my fiance and my son the same, but their different kinds of love. I'd never leave my kid.

I am not condoning this at all but could she have thought that someone else could support the child mentally and physically better than she could ? I dont know other than that . good luck and god bless.

its sounds to me like the mother hasnt quite grown up yet and she still wants her freedom..
she shouldntve had the child if she was going to do that.
