I live in designed neighborhood with a charcoal cement tiled roof (fireproof) and my home is painted Colonial Williamsburg yellow, with white trim and black shutters. You can see an example of how it will look by going to the Dunn Edwards paint store and asking for the brochure of colonial williamsburg colors, it is on the front of the brochure.

Pale yellow could be nice depending on where you live. Cream is always a good solution or an even deeper tan. A red door would look nice with any of these as well .
