I ventured to the top of a mountain and rather than finding a mountain top, there was a dip in the top but not really like a volcano, just an odd shaped mountain top.
There were people there and the mountain top was decked out in luxurious carpets and furniture and all sorts of fineries. The people there welcomed me in and seemed to be taking 'exotic' substances. Everyone was happy.
Later in the dream some people from the bottom of the mountain heard about what was going on up there and decided to get in on the action. Rather than be polite and wait to be invited in they burst over the rim in order to surprise the people there. However, as soon as the entered, to their surprise, there was absolutely nothing there! No people, no furniture, no exotic substances. Just bare rock. Everything had disappeared in an instant
The intruders just looked around them in complete shock.
What does this mean?

Sounds like you are doing something in secret that you really enjoy, but perhaps feel a little guilty about. You're trying to reassure yourself that no one has found out or will find out, but deep down you're not so sure.
The dream doesn't sound like you need to change anything, though you might benefit from letting a close friend in on your secret.
