I have a JVC mini DV Camcorder Model GR-D270U I need to know if I hook this up to my TV and playback a VHS tape (one that I recorded a home video on) can I record this onto my video camera? I would like to put all my home videos onto DVD and lack the funds to have it done professionally or to buy expensive converters and cords to do it directly from the TV to m Macbook. If anybody can help me out with any suggestions or information that would be great... If my camera will not take input, are there any cheap chords or converters I can use?
PS: I'm not super "techy" so try to keep it in mostly understandable terms (I DO know what DV is)
Thanks so much for the help!

Some do, some don't. Do you have your instruction manual? Yes? Read it. No? Look it up on JVC's website. Read it. You can sometimes gain a world of info from an instruction manual.
