its usually not something where they just say--guess what! we are going to have children soldiers now!
its usually a culture thing and in that case..its something that the children think are right. they train for many years to be a killer and a magnificent fighter.
its just in their blood..they are ready for battle becuase they have trained for it.

Not always. Some places it is very common for children to be put into military service, and the children aren't forced. They are brought up to believe they are doing a great thing. It is completely accepted, and the children don't know any better. It's almost the same concept of raising a child to believe in god. If you tell them about it early and often, they go along with it, with out even questioning it. Wait let me preface that by saying that I am not saying teaching children about god is wrong, just trying to use an example of how people can be conditioned to believe anything the parents or the society they grow up in wants them to accept or believe.

Torture, hunger, kidnapping, seeing their parents killed and told to be a soldier or else, and the good old method of brainwashing.
Predominantly done by all the above methods in Africa, Asia, & South America.

watch the Blood diamond with DiCaprio.
The children receive a delicate mixture of violence, abuse, indoctrination, drugs, and weapons. They are small 12 yo "men" just because other people are scared of their guns / quite understandable/. they consume less food, and believe all you tell to them. there is no better ego-booster than a big gun for a small boy.

It is called fight or die. They are taught from very young to fight the infidels (enemies) and when they are old enough usually 12 they can fight to the death and therefore have a greater level in heaven when you die for your cause.

Many children have no choice. Often the rebels (as in cases in Africa) will kill or threaten to kill the children's family, so they have to go off and fight.

many more do it out of "honor" and in reaching "manhood". I would think those forced into it is quite the smaller percentage.
Apparently M2S believes everything she reads on the internet, lol!

it doesn't happen overnight, they are mostly manipulated to the point where they think the only good thing to do in life is to be a soldier and kill
