The way I see it, you shouldn't have to compete against his friends for his affection. If he cares enough about you, he should make an effort to separate his friends' biases from your relationship. But, if you really think that this guy is worth it, then I would suggest that you find out why his friends feel the way they do and try to resolve the matter. Has it also occurred to you that maybe he's just using his friends as an excuse to break up with you in the first place? If that's the case, why would you want him back?

The first thing to do would be to answer the question WHY do his friends hate you? Is it because maybe when you were together you took up all his time and never let him see his friends? That's usually the reason why guys don't like their friends gfs. Did you come across as pushy and snobby? Have you actually tried spending time with him and his friends doing what THEY want? The only way to get your ex back when his friends hate you is to look up some of his interests and try to understand them.

Don't try to get him back. Act like you have something good going for yourself. Give him just enough attention to let him get a peak of all the good things you got going on. He will be so curious as to whats going on he will want to spend time with you. Example if he likes cars,then when your on the phone with him say "sorry to cut you off but I have my BMW dealer on the other line I'll call you back" and then don't. you know something the real question is do you want him back ??? i mean if you want him back no answer that anyone hear gives can help you only you can help you and the only way to know the answer is if you search your feelings you'll know what to do and you really can't make anyone want you back but if you really do want him back the vest thing to do is make his friends like you then once your in with a guys mates then your in with the guy ;)
